Writers Workshop Series
Writing to the Music In You
Monday Sessions - 9 to 12 and 12:30 to 3:30
Saturday - 9 - 12
or evening by appointment.
Each session is a hands on themed creative writing lesson. You will be asked to cut and paste, color, blow bubbles, mold with play dough, stand up, sit down, smell the flowers, taste some chocolate or other food, play with toys, draw an outline, and create words on paper. You will be asked to write from old photographs, art work, antique toys and memorabilia, and put yourself into someone else’s lifetime. Because this is about writing to the music in you, you can choose any form to write in. During the last portion of each lesson we will create a class poem. Home work assignments are not mandatory and always your choice.
